Why We Started Project 615
Project 615 Junk Removal started right here in the 615 area, serving the same neighborhoods and communities we grew up around. As we began helping customers with cleanouts, property cleanups, and debris removal, we realized junk removal could be more than just hauling items away. We wanted to build a company that not only helps customers reclaim their space, but also helps improve the areas we live and work in.

Our mission is to provide professional, full-service junk removal with honest pricing and dependable service, while making a positive impact in Middle Tennessee. We believe in fair, volume-based pricing, responsible disposal whenever possible, and treating every property with care and respect.
Giving Back to the 615 Area
Giving back is a core part of what we do at Project 615 Junk Removal. Beyond customer jobs, we are committed to helping clean up neglected areas throughout our hometown. From picking up roadside trash to assisting with community cleanups when possible, our goal is to leave the 615 area cleaner and better than we found it.

Chris Vlahakos - Founder
I started Project 615 Junk Removal during my freshman year at Western Kentucky University, where I am pursuing my degree while building this business to help pay for my education. Like many college students, I wanted more than just a part-time job — I wanted to create something of my own that could grow into a long-term business.
Along with my close friend Walker, we began taking on small junk removal and cleanup jobs around our hometown. What started as a way to make extra money quickly turned into something bigger as we realized the demand for reliable, honest junk removal in the 615 area. We originally operated under a different name while exploring multiple services, but as the business grew, we decided to focus entirely on junk removal and rebranded to Project 615 Junk Removal.
Building this company while balancing college has taught me discipline, responsibility, and the value of hard work. Project 615 not only supports my education at WKU, but also allows us to give back to the same communities that support us. Looking ahead, our goal is to continue expanding Project 615 and eventually launch additional businesses that benefit the 615 area through cleanup efforts, community projects, and local services.
